Primary Framing

H/I Beams in the PEB industry often refer to primary built-up members. Primary members consist of columns, rafters, beams etc. These are fabricated from high strength plates. Plates are cut to size and shape. Built up sections are made from these plates in Automatic Beam Welding Line by submerged arc welding.

Primary structural framing shall refer to the transverse rigid frames, lean to rafters and column, canopy rafters, columns (beams and column frames), bearing frame rafters and corner columns, and end wall wind columns.

Members fabricated from plate stock shall have flanges and web joined by a continuous welding process. These plates stock shall have maintain a standard yield strength and will conform to the physical specifications of ASTM.

Clear Span

Building without interior columns – maximum practical width = 90 m

clearspan

Clear span rigid frame steel buildings are strong, durable and economical. This type of steel building frame doesn’t require any interior support columns and can be a perfect solution for large space requirements such as factories or warehouses.

clearspan

Clear span gabled rigid steel building frame with constant depth columns and variable depth rafters, with ridge at center of frame.

Width: 16′ to 150′ and over

Height: 8′ to 60′ and over

Standard roof slope: 1: 8 to 1 : 10

Typical uses:

Offices, Free-standing Retail, Small Commercial, where clear span is desired.

Clear Span, Tapered Column Steel Building Frame

Another type of clear span steel building frame with tapered columns. These frames are strong, durable and economical – Doesn’t require any interior support columns.

clearspan

Clear span gabled rigid steel building frames with variable depth columns and rafters, with ridge at center of frame.

Width: 30′ to 300′ and over

Height: 10′ to 60′ and over

Standard roof slope: 1/2 : 12 to 2 : 12

Typical uses

Gymnasiums, Industrial, Clear Span Work Areas, Overhead Bridge Crane Conditions, Indoor Recreational Facilities, Tennis, Riding, Soccer, etc., Agricultural equipment or grain storage, Architectural applications where roof slopes are shown.

Clear-Span (Arched)

Arched Clear-Span – maximum practical width = 90 m

Multi Gable

Maximum practical module width = 80 m

multispan

Multiple Span, Straight Column Steel Building Frame

Multiple span, straight column steel building frames have interior columns. These interior columns distribute the load and reduce the cost of extra wide steel framed buildings. This frame impressively saves the cost as per the width of the building.

multispan

Multi-span gable rigid steel building frame with constant depth columns and uniform or variable depth rafter sections supported by intermediate columns, with ridge at center of frame.

Width: 10′ to 600′ and over

Height: 20′ to 60′ and over

Standard roof slope: 1/2 : 12

Typical uses:

Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Manufacturing, Industrial, or other facilities where high eave height or large square footage is required.

Multiple Span, Tapered Column Steel Building Frame

Multiple span steel building frames provided with tapered columns and interior straight columns. These interior columns distribute the load and reduce the cost of extra wide steel framed buildings. This frame impressively saves the cost as per the width of the building.

multispan

Multi-span gabled rigid steel building frame with variable depth columns and uniform or variable depth rafter sections supported by intermediate columns, with ridge at center of frame.

Width: 10′ to 600′ and over

Height: 20′ to 60′ and over

Standard roof slope: 1/2 : 12

Typical uses

Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Manufacturing, Industrial, or other facilities where high eave height or large square footage is required.

Multi-Span (Arched)

Building with one interior column – maximum practical module width = 70 m More multi-spans are possible (MS2, MS3…)

Single Slope

Building without interior columns – maximum practical width = 50 m

sigleslope

Multiple Span, Single Slope Steel Building Frame

Multiple span, single slope steel building frame provided with slope on the roof by adding both the side walls of different heights, this makes the roof of the building in a slope from front to back or vice versa.

Multi-span single slope rigid steel building frames with uniform depth columns and uniform or variable depth rafter sections supported by intermediate columns.

Width: 10′ to 600′ and over

Height: 20′ to 60′ and over

Standard roof slope: 1/2 : 12

Typical uses

Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Manufacturing Facilities

Clear Span, Straight Single Slope Steel Building Frame

Single slope steel building frame without the need for any interior columns.

singleslope

Clear span single slope rigid frame with constant depth columns and constant or variable depth rafters.

Width: 15′ to 120′ and over

Height: 8′ to 60′ and over

Standard roof slope: 1/2 : 12

Typical uses

Shopping Centers, Convenience Stores, Free-standing Retail Units, Fire Stations, or where drainage is a particular concern.
